A young couple, in SoHo, needs to hire a loving and nurturing Nanny for young infant. Responsibilities include: feeding, bathing, diapering, engaging the child in age-appropriate developmental activities, indoor and outdoor play, classes, and child related tidying, laundry and cooking. The Nanny will be expected to assist during nights for the first several weeks and transition into 50-hour work week afterwards. The ideal candidate must be highly experienced and team-spirited in order to work harmoniously with hand-on parents. Excellent communication skills will also be required, as well as significant knowledge of early childhood development. Long-term schedule: Monday-Friday (50 hours) with some flexibility. Occasional domestic travel will also be needed. Salary range: $35-45/hour plus a health insurance stipend. Mid-April start.
