A family of four, in West Palm Beach, needs to hire a detail-oriented Part-Time Household Assistant. Responsibilities include: laundry and ironing, light housekeeping and organization, preparing snacks and simple dinner preparation, dinner clean-up and driving of children to scheduled activities. The family employs a separate housekeeper several times per week for deep and traditional cleaning, so this role is centered more on daily upkeep, tidying, and general household flow rather than heavy cleaning. Additional responsibilities may include overseeing occasional service providers such as maintenance or appliance professionals, notifying homeowners of any issues, and light clean-up after visits if needed. The ideal candidate is formally trained or highly experienced with laundry and garment care and able to follow instructions while also being proactive in noticing low supplies or minor maintenance concerns. Strong organizational skills, clear communication are essential, as is providing advance notice for schedule changes or planned time off. Mileage and gasoline reimbursement when using a personal vehicle for work duties. The typical schedule is approximately 25–30 hours per week Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with the possibility of additional evening or weekend hours if desired.
