The Onboarding and Orientation Task Force is charged with the development, implementation, and assessment of the reimagining of ÐÓ°É´«Ã½â€™s orientation program, including the current program, to include non traditional, reentry, adult, the centers, full-time, part-time, non-credit, online, and Rising Scholar students, with a focus on providing a holistic approach to onboarding the the first year experience. This group will determine the college’s ideal time-to enroll for students and implement changes to ensure that the college meets this goal.
This Task Force will determine the high-level handoffs for students enrolling at Hartnell including those affecting current programming. Further, the group will focus on just-in-time communications, clear learning outcomes presented in a way that allows students to access it at their convenience, and alignment of programming and processes between campuses. As a part of this work, the group will address the following: the processes for securing attendance and engagement for students from first day to census.
