A formal, sustainably focused Estate, in Litchfield County, CT, needs to hire Professional Housekeeper to clean and maintain the family’s properties, taking full-charge of all cleaning and household organization. Responsibilities include: detailed cleaning, including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces, maintaining antique furniture, woodwork, and finishes, polishing silver and other decorative metals, cleaning windows, mirrors, and glass, care of fine linens, drapes, and upholstery, hand-washing glasses, kitchenware, and fine china, laundry, ironing, and occasional light mending, kitchen maintenance, pantry upkeep, indoor plant care, inspecting the home regularly for maintenance issues, reporting concerns promptly to the homeowner or property manager, stocking cleaning supplies and household inventory, accept deliveries and oversee service appointments, assisting with guest preparation and post-visit clean-up. Proven experience caring for historical homes, antiques, and fine furnishings required. Candidates will ideally drive. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, discretion, and a deep respect for a private home with fine furnishings, antiques, and architectural finishes.  Schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM-5 PM. Salary Range: $40-45/hr. + Health insurance (including vision and dental) and a 401K. Immediate start.
